On Tuesday, 11th February 2025, the Minister of Education and Sports, Hon. Janet K. Museveni, released the 2024 Uganda Certificate of Education for both Transition and NLSC results.
According to UNEB’s circular to all heads of UCE examination centres, the NLSC Achievement Levels and their Descriptions are as follows:
Additionally, the NLSC results are awarded using the following explanations
Result 1: Candidates
who qualify to get a certificate i.e. obtains a competency level grade of D in
at least one subject sat for.
Result 2: Candidates
who did not fulfil the condition for the award of the certificate.
Result 3: Candidates
who do not meet the minimum level of achievements in all the subjects.
Result 4: Candidates
who were either partially or fully absent.
Nyabikoni Secondary School registered 159 candidates under the NLSC and all candidates qualified for the
award of certificates i.e. passed with result
1. By Grade; As, Bs, Cs, Ds, and Es summations amounted to 40, 376, 864,
307, and 4 respectively.
The headteacher, who is the head of the centre, informs
candidates, parents and guardians that statements of UCE (NLSC) results 2024
are ready for picking at his office at school. Additionally, he appreciates all
stakeholders who played their roles towards the good performance recorded in
the UCE (NLSC) results of 2024.
Accordingly, he informs the general public that admissions to S.5 (2025) are ongoing at his office. Interested candidates should come with statement of UCE results / result slips. Learners that will be admitted to S.5 shall commence their classes on the 24th day of February, 2025.
